The Beaderie first opened for business on 23rd December 2009 at our historic location on Magdalene Street, and is firmly established as one of Cambridge's best independent shops.
Business owner, Sally, trained at the finest jewellers in the East of England, and draws on almost 30 years experience in beading and quality jewellery-making to bring you beautiful products in our boutique setting, located halfway between Kettle's Yard Museum and the punting station on Bridge Street.
Offering an eclectic and stylish mix of quality loose beads, findings and accessories, The Beaderie’s selection of quality components will inspire both experienced beaders and those just discovering a new skill. Put simply, The Beaderie has all the ingredients you could need to create your own bespoke jewellery and the knowledge to give you the very best of assistance.
Specialising in Czech glass beads, Semi-Precious Stones and Freshwater Pearls and, as well as jewellery-making supplies, our shop always has a selection of our unique 'Beaderie' handmade items available to buy, made by us using components from our shop. Whether you're looking for unusual beads, or perhaps have a specific project in mind, the team here at The Beaderie are here to help.
If you'd like us to undertake a project for you, you'll be pleased to learn that we also offer the services of bespoke jewellery-making to commission, so please feel free to pop in to our shop and we'll do our best to fulfill your requirements.
